We combine comfortable cabin accommodations with knowledgeable, hands-on guiding to give hunters an authentic North Maine Woods experience from the moment they arrive.
As Registered Maine Guides, we bring local knowledge, years spent in the outdoors, and a genuine respect for the land and wildlife into every hunt.

Guided Hunts
There’s a difference between hunting northern Maine and truly knowing northern Maine.
Our guided hunts are built around firsthand knowledge of the area, changing conditions, animal movement, and the terrain that makes the Allagash region unlike anywhere else.
From planning and preparation to time in the field, we work closely with our hunters to create an experience that is organized, personal, and rooted in the traditions of hunting Maine’s North Woods.

We had a great experience staying at Deep North Camps for the 2025 moose hunt. Working with the owners while planning and preparing for a self-guided trip was excellent—they were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and easy to work with from start to finish. The accommodations were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making for a perfect hunting camp stay.
Their location is a huge plus, with convenient access to both Zone 1 and Zone 2. What really stood out was how much effort they put into helping their clients succeed. As registered Maine guides, they truly know the area and take the time to share valuable insight, guidance and tips.
